My Printer Says Offline

Work through the most common causes in order, before calling it in.

   Check the printer is actually on

   Look for a solid power light — not blinking, not off.

   Check it's connected to Wi-Fi

   Most printers have a small screen or a Wi-Fi light — make sure it shows as connected, not searching.

   Restart the printer

   Turn it off, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on.

4. 4

   Restart your computer

   A full restart (not just closing the window) clears up most stuck print queues.

5. 5

   Try printing again

   If it still says offline after this, it's a good time to give us a call.
